AfterHouse runs a real program — daily accountability check-ins, required meetings, random drug testing, and weekly check-ins with the house manager. Not just a bed to sleep in.
Daily Structure
Structure is a recovery asset. Every day at AfterHouse follows a consistent framework — not rigid, but reliable enough that residents aren't winging it.
Discharge planners: we provide structured, verifiable accountability that supports continued sobriety after treatment ends.

Real accountability isn't punitive — it's a framework that removes ambiguity and gives residents a foundation to stand on. Here's how we enforce it.
What's Included
The monthly rate is all-inclusive. No surprise utility bills, no separate Wi-Fi charges — one payment, everything you need to focus on recovery.
Note on payment: AfterHouse is a self-pay program at $550/month, paid directly by residents from their employment income. We don't accept insurance, county funding, or state contracts in year one. If you're transitioning from treatment and timing is tight, contact us — we'll work with you.
Admission Process
The process is simple. We review every application personally and move fast — because people transitioning out of treatment can't afford to wait.
Complete the short application at afterhouserecov.com/site/apply.html. Takes about 5 minutes. We ask about your treatment history, sobriety date, employment status, and emergency contact.
The house manager reviews every application personally. You'll get a call or email response within 24 hours — usually same day. If a bed is open and you meet criteria, we'll discuss move-in.
A short call with the house manager to confirm fit, answer your questions, and walk through the house rules. Same-day intake is available when beds are open.
First month's rent required at move-in. Residents sign the house rules agreement and begin the daily program immediately. The house manager does an orientation the first day.
Support Level
AfterHouse is on the NARR Level II certification pathway — peer-supported, structured, not clinical. This is the right environment for people who've completed treatment and need accountability without institutional oversight.
Residents support each other. The house manager facilitates — the community enforces the standard together.
Zero tolerance for substances on the premises. Random testing enforces this at the program level, not just by policy.
Not a clinical placement — but a knowledgeable, accountable presence who knows every resident and tracks progress.
No clinical services delivered on-site. Residents work with their own outpatient providers. We provide the structure and housing, not the therapy.
AfterHouse Recovery is actively pursuing NARR (National Alliance for Recovery Residences) Level II certification — the recognized national standard for recovery housing quality. Operating at those standards in practice now.
